In line with the tutorial objectives of the Degree Course in Economics and Business Management (CLEGA), the course analyzes the national and european regulatory framework governing consumer law, tracing its unceasing evolution.
The course aims to provide students with a solid knowledge of the legal rules governing consumer law as contained in the Consumer Code and sectoral legislation. Special emphasis will be given to protective instruments, also framed in the perspective of the sustainability objectives promoted at European level, which are redefining corporate responsibilities and consumer expectations in the era of the digital and circular economy. The course is divided into two phases: one, theoretical, aimed at illustrating the conceptual foundations of a constantly evolving discipline; the other, of an application nature, consisting of the analysis of the jurisprudence and the provisions of independent administrative authorities, in particular of the AGCM, which contribute to the development of the field.
At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to identify functional norms for case resolution, having developed a method that allows them to find the most relevant tools in a regulatory and digital environment in constant redefinition.
