Il corso si propone di fornire agli studenti una preparazione adeguata sugli aspetti tecnici dei sistemi di qualità e gestione delle operazioni. Il corso fornirà idee ed esempi relativi alla produzione, ai processi e all'organizzazione del sistema e ai relativi standard internazionali.
Sistemi di qualità e gestione delle operazioni sono generalmente importanti per la comprensione dell'esperienza aziendale:
- È strategico e consente di capire meglio le aziende e le loro operazioni
- Gli standard ISO sono un fenomeno complesso sviluppato in tutto il mondo
Obiettivo del corso:
 Individuare e valutare l'importanza crescente della gestione delle operazioni e dei sistemi di qualità nei settori manifatturiero e dei servizi;
 Esaminare la gestione delle operazioni;
 Comprendere il ruolo della certificazione volontaria in tutto il mondo attraverso gli standard ISO.
 Comprendere la visione olistica di un'organizzazione fornita dallo standard ISO 9001 incentrata sulla «qualità».
La metodologia di insegnamento promuove un approccio interattivo. Il corso includerà rappresentanti di aziende. La metodologia di insegnamento utilizzata include lavori di gruppo, interventi esterni e discussioni in classe.
Il corso è in lingua inglese.
