Nell'ambito dei Té di Matematica, mercoledì 27 maggio alle ore 16:00, Angelo Felice Lopez (Università Roma Tre) terrà un seminario dal titolo "Computer vision? Mathematical Physics? Algebra? Algebraic geometry? Ulrich bundles!"
Abstract: Ulrich bundles are a very special, but elusive class of vector bundles on algebraic variety. They are easy to define, hard to find but conjectured to exist always. They were born in commutative algebra but, already young, they made their entry in algebraic geometry. Also, they play a role in applications, for example in Computer vision and Mathematical Physics. We will describe them and the many open problems they originate, including in the applications.
Il seminario si svolgerà in presenza presso il Dipartimento di Matematica e Fisica, Lungotevere Dante 376, aula M1.
